As nurses, we dedicate our entire lives to helping others. With that said, what happens when we as nursing professionals hit a bump in the road? Support from our nursing community is critical and we still face physical and mental struggles at the end of the day. Sometimes, a ear to listen or simply someone that has walked that same path can make a world of difference. As nurses, we face significant challenges in our daily work environment, including the traumatic patient events that where a part of or that we witness. Those moments are the ones that we take home at the end of the shift, remember often, and sometimes hold onto throughout the duration of our career.
